Archimedean Spiral Instrument

ELLIQUE Cigar Draw Chisel are engineered for experts of their craft. Ellque’s exclusively engineered Archimedean Spiral Design allows the user to maneuver the blades to cut through tobacco freely and removes favored amount of additional pieces of tobacco when its pulled out to achieve the smoothest draw. 

With the spiral shape, the instrument’s contact points with the tobacco leaves are increased to a perfect volume allowing the chisel to easily penetrate into the cigar. The spiral shape also reduce the instrument’s contact points with the filler to the lowest possible, allowing the chisel to easily withdraw from the cigar and remove the perfect amount of tobacco shreds without leaving single traces upon the wrapper. Just as how it is to drill for crude oil, the needles gouge and penetrate extensively, allowing the force to be ultimately destructive. ELLIQUE Cigar Draw Chisel is the world’s very first full-metal built cigar chisel. Weighs at a delicate yet compact weight of 105g, composed of dozens of microscopic intricate parts. HSS Milled Chisel Tip

Grade-A HSS is primarily used to craft complex medical equipments and high impact resistant metal milling tools. Ellique’s cigar draw chisel withstand the intricate process of HSS heat treatment. The heat treatment includes annealing, quenching, tempering and etc. to further enhance the hardening and abrasion resistance. The chisel’s ability to be cut at a temperature higher than 600°C shows it has a high temperature resistance allowing it to remain invincible through the test of time.

Artisanal Polish Finishing

The fully anodized slightly smoked silver is the stunning result of countless rounds of polishing and dyeing. ELLIQUE’s craftsmanship focuses on two main commodities, beauty and practicality. In the process of manufacturing, the entire segment of metal is milled and abrasive blasted. Because every component used by ELLIQUE is delicate, light, and thin, it can only be polished by the hands of grandmasters one by one. 

Until it is polished to be translucent glistening and with a metallic texture, it then enters nine steps of coloring treatment to form an immensely hard ceramic-like oxide film on the surface. Thus, the surface can obtain the characteristics of corrosion resistance, wear resistance, insulation, etc. at the same time, so that the appearance of the chisel is more durable and not easy to adhere.Fingerprint resistance keeps it flawless and gives perfect contours.
